Wayne Freeman

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 8th, 2018 in his 71st year surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 46 years to Carol, father of Scott (Carrie) and Shannon (Samuel). Dearest grandfather of ten. Survived by sisters Carol (late John), Lorna (Jim), and Lori (Steve), and brothers Raymond and Kavin (Elizabeth), sisters-in-law Sharon (Doug), Gloria (late Bob), brother-in-law David (Audrey), and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by parents Gerard, Florence, Lorne and Shirley, sisters Katherine and Patricia. Wayne will be dearly missed but never forgotten by his friends, neighbours, and those close to him. Wayne was an avid bird watcher, bridge player, picker, and collector of antique engines.

A celebration of Wayne's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, March 12th at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in his name to the Saugeen Antique Power Association or the Durham and District Horticultural Society would be appreciated.
