Jean Laughlin

Jean Margery Laughlin (nee Monk), of Kitchener and formerly of Durham and Hanover, passed away at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener on Wednesday, April 18th, 2018 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Laughlin. Loving mother of Joyce and her husband Ernie Kailing of Elmira, Patricia and her husband Bruce Ireland of Kitchener, Gary Laughlin and his wife Donna of Durham, Janice and her husband Dwayne Schaus of Woodstock and the late Jennifer and her husband Ian Munro of Hamilton. Cherished grandmother of Jeff and Michelle Kailing, Stephanie and Steve Goode, Sarah Ireland, Emily Ireland, Katie Laughlin, Nathan Laughlin, Madison Schaus, Riley Schaus, Liam Schaus, Warren Munro and Leah Munro. Great-grandmother of Lili and Amelia Kailing, and Hudson Goode. Dear sister of Bob Monk and his wife Glenna, Gerald Monk and his wife Joy, Shirley and her late husband Elmer Scarrow, and Isabelle Nippard. Predeceased by her siblings Merv Monk, Doug Monk, Jim Monk and Marilyn Wyle.

A funeral service celebrating Jean's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday at 1 p.m. Spring interment at Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
