Death Notice of Brian Palmer

Brian Jordan Palmer, of Durham, originally from England, passed away at Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound on Thursday, July 2nd, 2020 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Marion (nee Miller), married for 64 years. Loving father of Ashley Palmer and his wife Heidi, Debra and her husband Ron Pharoah, and Niel Palmer and his wife Sheryl. Cherished grandfather of Jordan, and Riki; Amy, and Steve; Emilie, and John; Shawn, and Heather; Will, and Nicole; Adrian, and Devan. Fondly remembered by his great-grandchildren: Violet, Casey, Emma, Aidyn, Leah, Logan, Lexi, Lucas, Sidney, Jordan, Harlow, and Daniel. Dear brother of Tony Palmer and his wife Maisie, Wendy and her husband Bob Jennings, and Valerie and her husband John Emerson. Predeceased by his parents, Hubert and Gladys Palmer. Brian will be missed by many family and friends in Canada and England. The family would like to thank Dr. Singh, the CCAC and Chapman House staff, and the Palliative Care team for their care of Brian.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held on Tuesday, July 7th. Interment will take place at a later date at Trinity Anglican Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
