Jim Haines

James 'Jim' Leonard Haines, of Durham, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 21st, 2021 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Joanne Christie. Loving father of Paul Haines, and Peter Haines and his partner Krystylyn Clancy. Dear stepfather of Arla and her husband Scott Kirk, and Chris Manser and his wife Jaime. Cherished grandfather of MacKennah Floyd-Haines, Shay Kirk, Eiryn Kirk, Addison Manser and Sydney Manser. Brother-in-law of Iain Craig, Sheila Housego, John Christie and his partner Gwen Duncan, and Marianne Christie and her husband Frank Borchman. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Mabel Haines (nee Thompson) and his sister Peggy Craig.

Thank you to Jim's many supporters and health care professionals including the oncology department at the Owen Sound Hospital and the palliative care team with CarePartners and Closing the Gap.

A private funeral service will be held. Cremation to follow.
