John Millea

John Joseph Millea, of Durham, passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Grace (nee McKelvie) for 60 years. Loving father of Dave Millea and his wife Betty, Doug Millea and his partner Tiffany, and Kim and her husband George Gross. Cherished grandfather of Nicole (Ryan), Jonny, Josh and Jessie and great-grandfather of Alyssa and Caiden. Dear brother of Mary. Also remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Betty Millea, and his brother Fred. John was a musician and played in different bands for over 50 years.

A funeral service celebrating John's life will be held at the Durham Community Centre, 451 Saddler Street West, Durham on Saturday, October 2nd at 11 a.m., with visitation prior to the service from 10 - 10:45 a.m. Due to Covid-19 protocols masks are required and social distancing must be respected on Durham Community Centre property. Interment at Durham Cemetery.
