Death Notice of David Lawrence

David John Lawrence, of Durham, passed away with his family by his side at Chapman House, Owen Sound on Friday, November 12th, 2021 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Arlene (nee Roseborough). Loving father of the late Jessie Lou and her husband Ralph Moyer, Jo-Ann and her husband Wayne Anderson, Wayne Lawrence and his wife Nancy, Kirk Lawrence and his wife June, and Jackie and her husband Darrel Beacon. Dearly loved by his grandchildren; Evan, Shawn, Kyle, the late Michelle, Cheryll, Erin, Kelsey, Austin, Ashley, David, Jonathan, Mary Lynn, Kirk Jr., Vanessa, Andrew, Tori, and Allie, his 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Liz Cook, Donna Jackson, and John Roseborough and his wife Ruby. Predeceased by his brother Ray Lawrence, two infant brothers, his sisters-in-law Betty Lawrence, Joyce and her husband George Lonsbury, Florence and her husband Dougald McCallum, and by his brothers-in-law Ken Cook, and Gary Jackson.

A funeral service celebrating David's life will be held at the Durham Community Centre on Tuesday, November 16th at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12 - 12:45 p.m. Due to Covid-19 protocols masks are required and social distancing must be respected on Durham Community Centre property. If you wish to attend the service, you MUST reserve a seat. Bookings for the service can be done by visiting the death notice on the Funeral Home website (www.mccullochwatsonfuneralhome.ca) and click "make a reservation" to confirm your attendance or by calling the Funeral Home at 519-369-3837. Interment at Durham Cemetery. Friends and extended family are welcome to view a recording of the service on Wednesday, November 17th at 10 a.m. by visiting the home page of McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home website (mccullochwatsonfuneralhome.ca) or the McCulloch-Watson Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/mccullochwatson/).
