James McLachlan

James Alexander McLachlan, of La Tuque, Quebec and formerly of Durham, Ontario, passed away at the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux de la Mauricie-et-du-Centre-du-Québec in La Tuque, Quebec on January 21, 2022 at the age of 91 years and 5 months. Beloved husband of Martina (nee Bertrand). Dear father of James McLachlan, Terry McLachlan (Heidi Krebs) and Maggie McLachlan (Michel Baril). Cherished grandfather of Cody Burke Romain, Torin McLachlan, Sasha Marie McLachlan, and Christel Baril. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents James McLachlan and Jean Hepburn, and by his sister, Jean McLachlan (late Charles Roe).

The family will welcome relatives and friends at the Caron Funeral Home, 602 Commercial Street, La Tuque, Quebec on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 9:00 a.m., followed by a short celebration at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date at Durham Cemetery.
