Bob Fisher

Robert Harold Fisher, of Flesherton, passed away at Grey Gables, Markdale on Monday, September 18th, 2023 in his 80th year. Loving father of Michele Goss and her partner Bill Elphick, and Kim and her husband Bruce Murphy. Cherished grandfather of Megan, Alex and his partner Amy, Breck, and Kinsley. Dear brother of Linda and her late husband Frank Stoddart, Carol and her husband Bob Ottewell, Don Fisher and his late wife Nancy, and Buddy Fisher. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. 

Construction was his passion. He also had a love for music, which included singing and playing. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and he instilled this love to his grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Bob’s life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Thursday, September 28th at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12 – 12:45 p.m. Interment of cremated remains at Flesherton Cemetery Columbarium. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
