Saloma Marritt

Saloma Marritt (nee Bowman), of Hanover, passed away at The Village, Hanover on Wednesday, September 27th, 2023 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Brown and the late Lloyd Marritt. Loving mother of Nancy and her husband Harold Bowman, Janet and her husband Richard Graham, Bruce Brown and his wife Vicky, and Marilyn and her husband Kevin Loder. Fondly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Leonard Bowman, Grace Bowman, and Edna Vandenberg. Predeceased by her son Ronald Brown, her great-granddaughter Alissa Malott, and by her siblings: Selinda Martin, Priscilla Knechtel, Orvie Bowman, and Carol Shantz.

Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Sunday, October 1st from 3 – 6 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Saloma’s life will be held at The Revealed Word Tabernacle, Allan Park on Monday, October 2nd at 11 a.m. Private interment at Limehouse Presbyterian Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
