Josip Bat

Josip Bat, of West Grey and formerly of Hamilton, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Monday, January 1st, 2024 in his 76th year. Dear brother of Mladen Bat, cherished uncle of Tanya and Chris, and Davor, great-uncle of Thomas, Michael and Erika, Alicia, Ema, and Petra, and great-great-uncle of Jaxon.  Predeceased by his parents Olga and Djuro Bat, and his sister Rose and her late husband Lazo. Josip was a kind and generous man; always willing to listen. Family meant everything to him. He is greatly missed and loved by all.

Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Wednesday, January 3rd from 6:30 – 9 p.m., with a prayer service and words of remembrance beginning at 7 p.m. Food and refreshments will be available. Cremation to follow.
