Ross Thompson

Norman Ross Thompson, of Durham, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Wiechman). Dear brother of Gertrude Maxwell and brother-in-law of MaryLou Thompson, and Alvin Wiechman. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Orville Thompson, Bruce Thompson, Warden Thompson, and his sister Ethel Hastie. 

Visitation will be held at the Durham Legion, 271 Bruce Street North, Durham on Wednesday, March 6th from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., followed by a funeral service celebrating Ross's life at 1 p.m. with members of the Royal Canadian Legion Br 308 participating. Spring interment at Durham Cemetery. 

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Durham Hospital Foundation or the Durham Presbyterian Church (general fund) would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home.
