Yvonne Gonder

Yvonne Theresa Gonder, of Durham, passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital on Sunday, May 19th, 2024 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Doug Gonder. Loving mother of Paul Gonder, the late Greg Gonder and his wife Carol, Cathy and her husband Don Wright, Cindy Gonder, Susan and her husband Larry Aitken, and Lisa Cohan. Cherished grandmother of Diane, Dale, Kyle (Katie), Emily (Raphael), Amanda, Ashley, Caitlin (Adam), and Melissa (Ryan). Great-grandmother of Nicole (Anthony), Lukas, Austin, Charlotte, James, Samantha, Quin, and Haven. Chosen sister of Agnes and her husband Kent Benson, Eileen and her husband Connie Elvidge, and the late Bill Mooney. 

Cremation. A private graveside service will be held at the Durham Cemetery Columbarium. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or Hanover and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
