Ron "Chrome" Matthews

John Ronald “Chrome” Matthews, of Durham, passed away at Chapman House, Owen Sound on Tuesday, June 18th, 2024 in his 78th year. Dear brother of Jim Matthews, Ruth and her husband David Murray, Craig Matthews and sister-in-law Maralee Matthews. Fondly remembered by his two nieces, four nephews, one great niece and three great nephews. Predeceased by his parents Wallace and Florence Matthews and his brother Bill Matthews. 

Cremation has taken place. A private interment of cremated remains will be held at Maplewood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Chapman House (cheques payable to Grey Bruce Hospice Inc.) or the Durham Curling Club would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
