Murray MacDonald

Murray Willard MacDonald, of Durham, passed away at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 in his 91st year.  Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Vaughan).  Loving father of the late Faye MacDonald, Lois MacDonald, Julie and her husband Andy Mueller, and Willard MacDonald.  Cherished grandfather of Tori Mueller (Jerry Reid), David Mueller, Tyler MacDonald, Dylan MacDonald, and Jordan MacDonald.  Proud great-grandfather of Emmett Murray MacDonald.  Dear brother of Mary Dale Scales (the late Leonard Scales).   Brother-in-law of Ruth and Ron Schenk, Dorothy Vaughan, and Marie Vaughan.  Predeceased by his in-laws Eva and Clayton Reay, Clarence and Marjorie Vaughan, John and Irene Vaughan, Vera and Gavin Ray, Alfred Vaughan, and Alex Vaughan.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Murray's life will be held at the Durham Legion on Friday, August 9th at 2 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 1 – 1:45 p.m. Private interment of cremated remains at Durham Cemetery.
