Inez Pratt

Inez Viola Mae Pratt (nee Morrison), of Durham, passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Newman Pratt. Loving mother of Janice Pratt and her husband Howard Mitchell of Dornoch, Roy Pratt and his wife Peggy of Barrie, Richard Pratt and his wife Kristine, and Lyle Pratt and his wife Kerry, all of Durham. Cherished grandmother of Paul MacKinnon, Deidre and her husband E.J. Hunt, Owen Pratt and his partner Sabrina Mathias, Latrichia Pratt and her husband Dao Tran, Ash Pratt and his partner Brittney Anderson, Wesley Pratt and his wife Lisa Lorenz, Vicky Pratt and her husband Ryan Becker, and Rachael Pratt and her partner John McKenzie. Great-grandmother of Emanuel MacKinnon, Graham Hunt, Emmett Hunt, Milo Hunt, Emma Rose Pratt, and Ella Grace Pratt. Dear sister of Jean Bovingdon, and sister-in-law of Velma Morrison, Isobel Morrison, and Edna Pratt. Predeceased by her daughter Karen Pratt and her late husband Cal Ritchie, her parents George and Grace Morrison, her siblings Olive Aitken (the late Walter Aitken), Royden Morrison, Vera Aitken (the late Murray Aitken), Lloyd Morrison, Hazel Northey (the late Walter Northey), Roy Morrison, and Raymond Morrison (the late Karen) and her in-laws Herb Lantz, Tom Bovingdon, Wally Pratt, Geneva Hedley (the late Ron Rolston and the late Ken Hedley), Doris Leith (the late Harvey Leith), Charles Pratt (the late Madeleine), and Mel Harrison (the late Agnes). 

Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Sunday, August 4th from 2 – 4 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Inez's life will be held at the Durham Legion, 271 Bruce Street North, Durham on Tuesday, August 6th at 1 p.m., with visitation being held prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Interment at Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
