Sherrin Detzler (formerly Leatham)

Sherrin Elizabeth Detzler, formerly Sherrin Leatham (nee Bundscho), of Durham, passed away at Secord Trails Care Community, Ingersoll on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Joe Detzler and the late Harry Leatham. Loving mother of Kerry Rouse and her husband Ed, and Kelly Hall and her husband Brian. Cherished grandmother of Shelby Flynn and her husband Chad, Graham Hall and his wife Jenna, and the late Nathan Hall. Great-grandmother of Bailey and Zoey Flynn, and Layla and Nolan Hall. Step-mother of Tracy Detzler and his wife Debbie, Lezlee Detzler and her partner Janet, and Dale Detzler. Step-grandmother of April, Cole, Evan, Chloe and Amelia. Sherrin will be missed by the Leatham and Detzler families, her colleagues from her time at Kroehler Furniture, Egremont Community School and Durham District Community School, and all her many friends.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Sherrin’s life will be held at The Special Events Centre at Ground Effects Landscapes, 341411 Concession 2 NDR, Hanover on Thursday, September 19th at 2 p.m. Private interment of cremated remains will be held at the Durham Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or your favourite charity would be appreciated by the family.
