Theresa Manion

Theresa Veronica Manion (nee Ditner) of Priceville, passed away at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Leonard Manion for 56 years. Loving mother of Mary Manion, John Manion and his wife Vicki, Leo Manion and his wife Nereda, Mike Manion and his wife Stacey, and chosen son William and his wife Brenda. Cherished grandmother of Caleb, Joey, Austin, Lexi and Eric, Josh and Alexus, David, Tessa, Laura, Mary Shannon, John, Sophia, Audrey, Patrick, Shawn, and Charlotte. Great-grandmother of Trenton, Desmond and Violet. Dear sister of Mary Dorscht, Ann McKeown (Bev), Cletus Ditner (Mary), Helen Odell (Ralph), Ed Ditner (Carla), Carol Ortins (John), Linus Ditner (Patricia), and Julie Calford (Bernie). Sister-in-law of Mary and Ken Mulhall, Patricia Manion, Caroline Ditner and Evelyn Ditner. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Leo Ditner and Frank Ditner, her brother-in-law Vern Dorscht, and her sister-in-law Elaine Manion.
Visitation will be held at McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham, on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 6 – 9 p.m. and on Friday, November 15th, 2024 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church, 384256 Concession Road 4, West Grey (Glenelg), on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. Interment at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. Following mass, please join the family for lunch at the Durham Community Centre, 451 Saddler Street West, Durham from 1 – 3:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, a Catholic mass offering or prayers said for the repose of her soul would be appreciated by the family. Mass offerings can be arranged through McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home or direct with any Catholic Church.
