Robert Aljoe

Robert “Rob” Alexander Aljoe, of Durham, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 12th, 2025 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee La Fleur). Loving father of Trevor Aljoe, Trace Aljoe and his wife Karen, and Sandra and her husband Bill Carlisle. Cherished grandfather of Rebecca, Jeff, Mark (Alix), Brittany, and Jenn and her husband Kody. Great-grandfather of Olivia, Ava, Nova, Jasper, and Kashton. Dear brother of Daryl Aljoe and his late wife Roberta. Predeceased by his parents David and Dorothy Aljoe, and his stepmother Marjorie.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Robert’s life will be held at the Durham Legion, 271 Bruce Street North, Durham on Thursday, January 16th at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Spring interment at Durham Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Children’s Wish Foundation or Arthritis Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
