Robert "Bob" Peter

Robert James Peter, of Durham, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 in his 93rd year. Dear brother of Bill Peter and his friend Marilyn Ellis, and Ruth Peter-Nielsen. Uncle of Todd and Michelle Peter, their children Connor and Madison; Chris and Sarah Peter and their children Bretton and Corbin; the late Darwin and Lisa Vanderkwaak and their children, Miriam, Abigail and Jeremy. Predeceased by sister Isabel Dewar, his brothers-in-law Darrell Dewar and Jannich Nielsen, and his sister-in-law Betty Peter. 

A funeral service celebrating Bob’s life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Wednesday, January 22nd at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Spring interment at Maplewood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
