Death Notice of Josephine Hack
Carlotta Josephine Hack (nee Sanvido), of Durham, passed away at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice, Cobourg on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Hack. Loving mother of Linda and her husband Roger Davey, John Holden, Joseph Holden, and Kevin Hack and his fiancee Janice. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Dino Sanvido. Predeceased by her grandson Jason, her daughters-in-law Patti-Jo Hack, and Barbara Holden, and her brothers Angelo Sanvido and Guearino Sanvido.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Josephine’s life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham at Saturday, April 26th at 11 a.m. Interment of cremated remains at Durham Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
