Death Notice of Frederick "Ghost" Paterson
Fred “Ghost” Paterson
Passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 at the age of 72, with his four-legged friend, Lucky, by his side.
Predeceased by his adoptive parents, Joe & Thelma Paterson. He has a brother John (Kathy), a nephew David, and a niece Kate.
Fred is survived by his daughter, Jodie Lynn. She and he shared a passion for music. In his day, Fred was a talented singer and a wizard on any guitar, (amongst other instruments.)
He is also survived by those whom he shared lifelong friendship with, as well as the ‘brothers & sisters’ he gained in the biking community. Fred cherished each of his friends and he did his best, in his own way, to make sure they knew.
Fred covered many miles on the road of life, riding any one of the countless Harley Davidson’s he owned since getting his license as a teenager. Countless memories made. If he was there, his bike was nearby.
Fred was a man that lived on the edge and those closest to him were fortunate enough to be embraced by his softer side. May we be comforted to know he is reconnected with his beloved beagle, Cadbury, already out on an overdue walk, together, smiling ear to ear.
Fred, may you ride the skies freely, with the wind in your hair and music everywhere. You are loved and will be tremendously missed.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to a non profit animal rescue organization would be appreciated.
Cremation will take place, arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham, Ontario.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date.
