Tony Gomes

Tony Gomes, of Markdale, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Laurie (nee Baldwin). Loving father of Angela Ritchie, Toni Gomes, and Karina and her partner Cory Clarmo. Cherished grandfather of Logan McDonald and his wife Haley, Sabrina McDonald and her partner Preston Reinhardt, and Vincent Gomes-Cameron. Great-grandfather of Otis and Finley. Dear brother of Samuel and Paula Gomes, Marianne and Paige Mootry, and David and Mimi Gomes. Predeceased by his parents Juvenal and Maria Gomes. 

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Tony’s life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter or an animal shelter of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
