Kathy Gilbert

Kathleen Louise Gilbert, of Priceville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Judy Galbraith. Loving sister of Lloyd Gilbert and his partner Lori, and Fred and his partner Debbie. Cherished aunt of Chris Gilbert, Marc Gilbert, Adam Gilbert, Emily Gilbert, and Sara Miles. Kathy will be missed by her beloved pets, Benson and Bisbee. Predeceased by her parents Dorey and Donna Gilbert. 

Thanks to Dr. Decarolis and Dr. Kuk at the Grand River Hospital for their compassionate care during Kathy's cancer journey. Thanks too, to the nurses on the sixth floor D-wing south for their care of Kathy while she was in hospital.  And many thanks to all the people who are part of the palliative care team who made it possible for Kathy to be at home during her last few days.

Cremation has taken place. A come and go celebration of life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home on Saturday, June 7th from 2 - 4 p.m.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
