Betty Glass

Passed away at Extendicare, Brampton on Wednesday, January 5th, 2011. The former Elizabeth "Betty" Eleanor Harrison, formerly of Durham, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late George Glass. Dear mother of Cathy and her husband Bruce Adlam of Burlington and Barb and her husband Bev Eckhardt of Durham. Loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one granddaughter, her brother Tom Harrison, and her sisters Mary Cunningham, Thursa Millar and Dorothy Shearer.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held at Knox United Church, Durham on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Spring interment at Durham Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
