Passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Saturday, September 20th, 2008. George Barrington Redfearn, of Durham, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Dorothy. Loving father of Michael and his wife Michelle of Vancouver, Claudette and her husband Bert Liske of Mount Forest, Anne and her husband John Grobbo of Fordwich and Penny and her husband Pat Pietrantonio of Mississauga. Cherished grandfather of Teddy, Jennifer, Mark and Robert.
George was a Veteran of WWII and belonged to RAF - 61 Squadron. He served two tours of duty in the bomber command as a gunner and as a wireless operator and flew the Handley Page Hampden. He was presented with a "Distingquished Flying" Medal by King George VI.

A Celebration of George's Life will be held at Glenelg Centre Baptist Church on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment of cremated remains will be held at McNeil Cemetery, Priceville.
