Death Notice of Gaynor G., Veteran of WWII (W.R.N.S.) Cullingford
Passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Sunday, July 31st, 2011. The former Gaynor Gwendoline Warn, of Durham, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Jason Cullingford. Loving mother of Brian and his wife Deirdre of Barrie. Dear sister of Violet Meredith of Wales and Valmai Davis of Grimsby. Gaynor was born on November 29th, 1925 in Abertysswg, Wales. She was a veteran of WWII and served in Alexandra Egypt and Admiralty London and she gave service with the Foreign Office immediately after the war - U.S./U.K. Zone, Germany. She emigrated to Canada in 1953 and spent many years as a verbatim shorthand Court reporter including Supreme Court of Ontario, Federal Court, Air Transport Board, Tax Appeal Board and numerous court and judicial hearings. She was a member of the Chartered Shorthand Reporters Association of Ontario.
In respect of Gaynor's wishes a private family interment will be held at the Winona Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Durham and Community Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
