Geraldine Goessell

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Hanover and District Hospital on Monday, July 1st, 2013. The former Geraldine Lavina George, of Hanover, in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late Keith Goessell. Loving mother of Allan Goessell of Hanover, Brian (Sally) Goessell of Hanover, Susan (Denis) Brousseau of Kincardine, Nancy (Harry) Paylor of Durham, Steve Goessell of Hanover, and Adrienne (Ente) Pera of London. Fondly remembered by her 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Walter (Anita) George and Darwin (Janet) George. Predeceased by 2 infant children and her sisters Laverne Johnson and Mary Louise George.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Friday, July 5th at 11 a.m. Interment of cremated remains at Kincardine Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
