Mary Diemert

Passed away at McVean Lodge, Hanover on Sunday, July 7th, 2013. Mary Erna Diemert (nee Aitchison), of Durham, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Ed Diemert. Loving mother of Bryan Diemert and his wife Anita of Pickering, and Sharon and her husband Steve Reay of St. Marys. Cherished grandmother of Stephen (Steph) Neaves, Julie Diemert, Adam Diemert (fiancée Katie), Brianne Diemert, Natalie Reay and Nathan Reay. Great-grandmother of Dakota, Nolan, Dustin and Chelsea. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Maryann Jackson, her son-in-law Terry Jackson and her siblings Don Aitchison, Wyn Dixon and Jo Martin. "A sincere thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Durham and Hanover Hospitals for the special care and attention that was provided to our mother".

A memorial service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at the Durham Presbyterian Church on Thursday, July 11th at 12 noon, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
