Death Notice of John Sterritt Howard
August 29, 1926 - September 11, 2013
Much loved husband of Virginia. Loving dad of Jennifer and her husband David Jury, Patricia and her husband Doug Morden. Beloved fishing companion, inspiration and story teller to his grandchildren Kitson Morden and Jeannine Oliver, Alexa Morden, Alicia Jury and Dave Dosi and Andrew Jury. Brother of Alex Howard of London, Ontario and son of "Jack" and Hazel Howard of New Brunswick. Papa's love for his family was without measure. His home in Oliphant with its sunsets, fishing and his woodshop brought him such joy, most especially when shared with his grandchildren. His family are grateful for his legacy of seeing the importance of us all being together in the wide open spaces and will continue his traditions and stories into the future.

The family will be at "the cottage" to greet his friends on Sunday September 22 in the afternoon and evening. He will be in our hearts forever. And yes dad, we will always keep our rod tip up!
