Death Notice of Wm. Robert "Bob", Veteran of WWII Lee
Passed away at Hospice of Grey Bruce, Owen Sound on Friday, August 22nd, 2014. William Robert "Bob" Lee, of Durham, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Lawrence). Loving father of Dianne Lee of North Hatley, Quebec, Jennifer Yust of Burlington, and Joanne and her husband Jim Mundy of Windsor. Cherished grandfather of Lee VanCromvoirt, Paul VanCromvoirt, Andrea (Andrew) Forster, Theresa Yust, Erin (Jessie) Hamlin, Robert Mundy and Katherine Mundy. Great-grandfather of Fiona, William and McKenna. Survived by his siblings Fred Lee, Viola Runions, Jeffrey (Sheila) Lee and Betty (Doug) Bricker. Dear brother-in-law of Keith Lawrence and his late wife Violet of Owen Sound, and Stuart Lawrence and his wife Jackie of Pike Lake. Predeceased by an infant son, his son-in-law Leonard Yust, his brothers Wayne Lee, Cliff Lee and Orville Lee and his sisters Marina Crabatynka and Dorothy McArthur. Bob was a Veteran of WWII having served in the Essex Scottish Regiment. He later farmed in Normanby Township and was a custodian for the Waterloo District School Board.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held at Knox United Church on Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery.
