Yvonne Smith

Returned Home to the Light on Monday, December 1st, 2014. Yvonne Annie (Dorothy Ann) Smith (nee LePoidevin), formerly of Durham, at the age of 83. Loving mother of Marye Smith of Markdale and Sally Smith of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Agnes LePoidevin and her brothers Norman and Paul LePoidevin. During her retirement, Yvonne enjoyed volunteering at Chicory Common and the Durham Art Gallery where she met many wonderful friends. She was a Canada World Youth host and a member of the Peace Group.

A celebration of Yvonne's life will be held at the Durham Art Gallery, 251 George Street East, Durham on Saturday, December 20th at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Durham Art Gallery or the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family and may be made by contacting the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home at 519-369-3837 or they may be made at the celebration of life servic
