Seth Hopkins

Passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Friday, September 2nd, 2016. Seth Roosevelt Hopkins, of Durham, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Rose (nee Day). Loving father of George Hopkins, Jim Hopkins, Ann and her husband Robert Scheurman, David Hopkins and his wife Mary and Louise and her husband Mark Grove. Fondly remembered by his 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by an infant son, his parents Tom and Clara Hopkins and his siblings Marie Miller, Farquhar Hopkins, Agnes Widmeyer and Barbara Wright.

A celebration of Seth's life will be held at Durham Baptist Church on Friday, September 9th at 11 a.m., with visitation prior to the service from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. Interment of cremated remains to follow at Trinity Anglican Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Durham Baptist Church, London Health Sciences Foundation or the Durham and Community Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
