Melvin Smith

Passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Friday, September 9th, 2016. Melvin George Smith, formerly of Hanover and Wroxeter, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Cora Smith. Loving father of John Smith and his wife Anne of Crawford and Gordon Smith and his wife Sharon of Hanover. Cherished grandfather of David and his wife Nicole, Sarah and her husband Rod, Aaron and his wife Heather, Rebecca and her husband Donald, Amanda and her friend Lance, Twila and her husband Rick and Chad. Great-grandfather of 11. Dear brother of Edith Willie and Mildred Holmes. Brother-in-law of Gordon and Mary Smith. Predeceased by his sisters; Reta Smith and Laura Smith and his brothers; Lorne Smith and Alex Smith and an infant brother.

A celebration of Melvin's life will be held at Revealed Word Tabernacle, Allan Park on Monday, September 12th at 2 p.m. Private interment at Smith Cemetery.
