Gord Gowan

Passed away suddenly at Guelph General Hospital on Monday, September 12th, 2016. Gordon Benjamin Gowan, of Durham, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Lillian (nee Talbot). Remembered by his daughter Karen and her husband Ralph Mast of Guelph and their children Sarah and her husband Matthew Steffler and Steven Mast and his wife Tiffany. Cherished grandfather of Ben Talbot and Natasha Talbot and her husband Steve Baker. Great-grandfather of Maizy Steffler. Brother-in-law of Evelyn and Bill Ferguson and David and Debbie Talbot. Predeceased by his daughter Penny Talbot, his sisters; Agnes Snider and Marjorie McDonald and his brothers; Walter Gowan, Richard Gowan and Jack Weir.

A celebration of Gord's life will be held at the Durham Legion on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12 - 12:45 p.m. Interment at Trinity Anglican Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
