Anne Wilton

Anne Neilena Wilton passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Saturday, November 5th, 2016, in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Elgin and Neila (nee Marshall) Wilton. Dear sister of Harriette Rooney of Durham and Bob Wilton and his wife Shirley of Mississauga. Special Aunt Anne to 9 nieces and nephews and their families, always remembered as a favourite friend, confidant and playmate. Predeceased by her brother Neil Wilton and his wife Helen and her brother-in-law Kenneth Rooney. Anne was a life long elementary school teacher, a talented musician and artist, her water colour paintings are treasured by many.

A celebration of Anne's life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Tuesday, November 8th at 2:30 p.m Interment at Maplewood Cemetery.
