Doreen Nixon

Doreen Laura Nixon passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Wednesday, December 14th, 2016 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late William Nixon. Dear mother of Barry Nixon of Richmond Hill. Loving grandmother of Jillian Nixon and her husband Mark and Davette Nixon and her husband Todd. Great grandmother of Avery and Kennedy. Also survived by her daughter-in-law Brenda Nixon of Burks Falls. Predeceased by her son Bryan Nixon, brother Paul Albright and sister Norma Myers.

A graveside service will be held at the Durham Cemetery in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
