Christena 'Chris' Hooper

Christena "Chris" Hooper (nee Carson), of Hanover, passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital on Monday, March 27th, 2017 in her 70th year. Loving mother of Gary Hooper and his wife Harmony of Priceville, David Hooper and his wife Treena of Oakville, Randy Hooper and his wife Jeanine of Durham and Jeff Hooper and his wife Tammy of Durham. Cherished grandmother of Morigan, Melisa, Myah, Clayton, Justin, Travis, Mitchell, Jarrett and Darcy. Dear sister of Nancy and her husband Ted Hopkins of Irish Lake, Jack Carson and his wife Vicki of Priceville and Cindy and her husband Brent Hopkins of Durham. Predeceased by her sister Ricki Hanley (March 16, 2017).

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Chris's life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Thursday, March 30th at 2 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12 - 1:45 p.m.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
