Death Notice of Kyle Reay

August 9, 1981 - April 17, 2017
We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Kyle Reay on April 17, 2017. Kyle was 35 years old. Kyle grew up on a farm between Hanover and Durham enjoying hockey, 4-H and cattle. Not only did Kyle participate in, but also coached kids in hockey and was a leader in 4-H so he could pass on to a younger generation what had been taught to him. Kyle was a kind generous "gentle giant" whom many looked up to. He was a very hard worker and owned and operated his own business, Reay's Tree Planting, just after high school. Kyle was a very determined young man and saw things through that he set his mind to such as pursuing his love for his wife Amanda Reay (Libke). His love for Amanda took Kyle to Saskatchewan where they married and built their home together. Kyle and Amanda loved working alongside his mother-in-law and father-in-law Linda and Wayne Libke, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Tyler and Erin Libke of Saskatchewan. Kyle is the son of Glen and Brenda Reay of Durham, brother of Tanya (Steve Aljoe) of Hanover, Chad (Emma) of Guelph, and twin brother Corey (April) also of Hanover. He is the son-in-law of Wayne and Linda Libke, brother-in-law to Tyler and Erin Libke of Saskatchewan. He was the "best uncle ever" to Brody Aljoe, Jaxon, Kolby, Payton, Charlie, and Oliver Reay and Dax Libke. He is also survived by grandparents Don and Bea Bates and Gordon and Pat Libke, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by grandparents Gordon and Dorothy Reay and Milton and Barbara Wright.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, April 30th from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Ground Effects "Special Events Centre", 341411 Concession Rd 2 NDR, Hanover, Ontario N4N 3H6. Everyone welcome.

In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to Saskatoon Cancer Centre (20 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 4H4) or the Bruce Grey Chapter of the MS Society. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
