Fred Reay

Frederick "Fred" Joseph Reay, of RR#1 Elmwood, passed away suddenly on the land that he loved on Friday, September 15th, 2017 in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Delores (nee Russell) for 43 years. Loving father of Rebecca and her husband John DiMarco of Aurora. Dear brother of Don Reay and his wife Julie, Hazel Hanke and her husband Frank, Verna Beckenhauer and her husband Don, Helen Rama, Ruth Walker and her husband Ken and Evelyn Reay. Brother-in-law of Elaine and Jack Kahl. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and by Ben and Georgia Plume. Predeceased by his parents Aylmer and Reta Reay and his beloved nephew David Picken.

A service celebrating Fred's life will be held at the Durham Legion on Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
