Harry Wilson

Harry Alexander Wilson, of Durham, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Falkingham). Loving father of Kim and her husband Paul Tone of Ayton, Kerri and her husband Paul Mighton of Durham and Krista and her husband Bryan Nelson of Durham. Cherished grandfather of Wilson Tone, Morgan Tone, Lindsay Nelson and Hannah Nelson. Dear brother of Nancy Breadner, David and Mary Wilson and Joyce MacMillan. Brother-in-law of Don and Carol Falkingham. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alex and Isabel Wilson, his sister Jessie Gristey, his parents-in-law Harry and Olive Falkingham, his brothers-in-law Mac Breadner, Don MacMillan and Barry Flewelling and his sister-in-law Jean Flewelling. Harry owned for over 40 years "Wilson Carpet and Upholstery" in Durham.

A service celebrating Harry's life will be held at the Durham Legion on Wednesday, September 27th at 2 p.m., followed by a time to come and visit with his family until 5 p.m.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Durham and Community Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
