Death Notice of Dorothy Redfearn
Passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Thursday, January 8th, 2009. The former Dorothy Grace Brown, of Durham, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late George Redfearn (September 20th, 2008). Loving mother of Michael and his wife Michelle of Vancouver, Claudette and her husband Bert Liske of Mount Forest, Anne and her husband John Grobbo of Fordwich and Penny and her husband Pat Pietrantonio of Mississauga. Cherished grandmother of Teddy, Jennifer, Mark and Robert. Sister of Vera and the late Raymond Atto, Mildred and her husband Victor Davies, William Brown and the late Sylvia. Sister-in-law of Ruth Brown. Predeceased by her brother Victor and her sisters Pearl and Betty.
Dorothy graduated from Sir George Williams University, Montreal in 1955. She was a published writer, bee keeper and she taught bee keeping. She had a love for music and was a previous member of the Saugeen Bach Choir. Later in life, she became a real estate agent and enjoyed selling bits of Canada in the Durham/Hanover area.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Sunday, January 11th from 1:30-3 p.m., where a Celebration of Dorothy's Life will be held at 3 o'clock. Spring interment of cremated remains will be held at McNeil Cemetery, Priceville.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Adopt-a-Dog or Glenelg Centre Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
