Monica Kerr

Monica Anne Kerr (nee Monk), of RR#3 Durham, passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 in her 69th year. Beloved wife of Steve Kerr. Loving mother of Melissa Kerr and her husband Jason White of Ayr, and Morgan Kerr and his wife Kendra of Durham. Cherished grandmother of Nathan and Everett. Dear sister of Spencer Monk and his wife Marg, Theresa Rawn, and Joanne Monk. Sister-in-law of Pat Dietiker, Richard Kerr and his wife Jo-Anne, Larry Kerr, Linda and her husband Laurie Blasing, Gail and her husband Charlie Quick, Roger Kerr, and Darlene Majury. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George and Stella Monk, and her parents-in-law Cameron and Mary Kerr. Monica and Steve have owned and operated Snowmobiles Unlimited in Varney for 42 years.

A funeral service celebrating Monica's life will be held at the Durham Legion on Thursday at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12 - 12:45 p.m. Cremation to follow.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, Durham Firefighters Association, or the Diamond Project would be appreciated by the family.
