Marianne Petersen

Marianne Petersen (nee Kugler), of Durham, passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Gunther Petersen. Dear mother of Thomas Petersen. Fondly remembered by her nephew Holger Normann Folkers and his wife Ingrid, and by her niece Katarina Sochatka. Great aunt of Michelle, Mark and Sonja. Marianne will be sadly missed by her dear friend, Sheila Woods, who cared for Marianne for the past 12 years. Predeceased by her siblings Henny, Alfreda, Wanda, Olga and Edward.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Marianne's life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Friday, January 11th, 2018 at 12 p.m., with visitation being held prior to the service from 11 - 11:45 a.m.
