Cora Smith

Cora May Smith, formerly of Hanover and Wroxeter, passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Smith. Loving mother of John Smith and his wife Anne of Crawford and Gordon Smith and his wife Sharon of Hanover. Cherished grandmother of David and his wife Nicole, Sarah and her husband Rod, Aaron and his wife Heather, Rebekah and her husband Donald, Amanda and her friend Lance, Twila and her friend Rick, and Chad. Great-grandmother of 14. Survived by her brother Gordon Smith and his wife Mary, sisters-in-law Mary Smith, Edith Willie and Mildred Holmes. Predeceased by her sisters, Ruby, Rosy and Bessie and her brother Stanley.

A funeral service celebrating Cora's life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Friday, October 4th at 2 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 1 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. Private interment at Smith Cemetery.
