Elwon Eckhardt

Passed away peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale on Monday, April 16th, 2007 after a brave battle with cancer. George Elwon Eckhardt, of RR#1 Priceville, in his 61st year.

Beloved husband of the former Anita Schuett. Loving father of Angela and her husband Greg James, Erin Eckhardt and her special friend Derek Grant, Julie and her husband Johnathon Eccles and Laura Eckhardt. Cherished grandfather of Shannon and Amber James. Elwon was also anticipating the arrival of his third grandchild. Survived by his brother Bev Eckhardt and his wife Barb. Predeceased by his parents George and Eleanor Eckhardt.

A memorial service will be held at the Glenelg Centre Baptist Church on Saturday, April 21st at 3 p.m., with visitation three hours prior to the service.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Cancer Research or the Markdale Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
