Lloyd Christie

Lloyd Randolph Christie, of Durham, passed away peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice Christie (nee Simmons). Loving father of Joanne Christie and her husband Jim Haines, Sheila Housego, John Christie and his partner Gwen Duncan, and Marianne Christie and her husband Frank Borchman. Cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons. Dear brother of Annabelle Davies and Yvonne Witherow. Predeceased by his son David Christie and his late wife Kathy, son-in-law Bob Housego, brother Vernon Christie and sisters Nevada Holliday and Hazel Carmount.

A funeral service celebrating Lloyd's life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with visitation being held prior to the service from 10 - 10:45 a.m.
