Rev. Jiri Macenauer

Father Jiri Macenauer, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at his cottage on Thursday, July 30th, 2020 in his 75th year. Dear brother of Ctirod Macenauer and his wife Vera of Czech Republic. He will be fondly remembered by his church families. Predeceased by his parents as well as other relatives in Czech Republic. Father Jiri was ordained to priesthood in 1983 and was a priest with the Hamilton Diocese for over 35 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 23 Sheaffe Street, Hamilton on Tuesday, August 4th at 11 a.m. Interment at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, 384256 Concession 4, West Grey on Tuesday, August 4th at 4 p.m. Due to Covid-19 protocols masks are required, social distancing must be respected on both Funeral Home property and St. Mary's Parish property.
