Buddy Smith

Richard "Buddy" Granville Smith, of Crawford, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Services, Durham on Saturday, December 5th, 2020 at the age of 83. Husband of Jennifer Ruttan-Smith. Remembered by sister-in-law Peggy Ruttan, The Ruttan Family, nephew Paul Haigh, daughters; Linda, Charlene and Karen, grandchildren Lola and Karlin and sisters Kathleen Haigh and June Salsbury (Susan, Cathy and Nancy). Buddy grew up in Toronto on Millwood Avenue, and worked for IBM until 1991 when he retired. Buddy was an avid lover of nature and music. He enjoyed the summer months puttering on his property with his cats in tow. He was famous amongst family and friends for his love of dessert. He would never pass on a second helping. We will miss Buddy and his sense of humour but he will remain forever in our memories. Thank you to the South Bruce Grey Health Services hospital staff for their hard work and efforts, and to Dr. Rai for his care and kindness.

Cremation has taken place.
