Death Notice of Jim Henning
Jim had many interests; he was a huge Toronto Blue Jays fan, he enjoyed playing and watching all sports, and even got a hole in one; he enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and angler and received his nickname "Hawk" at an early age from his hunting buddies; he loved to watch the birds, squirrels and deer in his front field; he was a carpenter working in construction and was proud to have built their own home where his woodworking skills are showcased in the cherry bar and railings; he enjoyed crosswords, playing crokinole and his daily cribbage games with Eunice. Jim worked at Bruce Power until his retirement, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
A memorial service celebrating Jim's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 3rd at 11 a.m. (proof of full vaccination is MANDATORY to attend the memorial service). If you wish to attend the memorial service you MUST reserve a seat. Reservations for the memorial service can be made by visiting the death notice on the Funeral Home website (www.mccullochwatsonfuneralhome.ca) and click "make a reservation" to confirm your attendance or by calling the Funeral Home at 519-369-3837. Due to Covid-19 protocols masks are required, social distancing must be respected on Funeral Home property. Friends and extended family are welcome to view a recording of the service on Tuesday, January 4th at 10 a.m. by visiting the home page of McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home website (mccullochwatsonfuneralhome.ca) or the McCulloch-Watson Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/mccullochwatson/). The video will remain posted for viewing afterwards. Interment of cremated remains at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Ayton.
