Marian Martyn

Marian Irene Martyn (Milligan nee Patterson), of Strathcona Long Term Care Centre, Mount Forest and formerly of McCullough Lake, passed away after a brief illness at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Saturday, January 1st, 2022 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Steve Martyn. Dear mother of Paul Milligan and his wife Kendra. Cherished grandmother of Garrett Hopkins, Kayley and Ryan Murray, Shelby and Dustin Bell, Travis Rawlings and Nicole Watson, Mathew Rawlings, and Patrick Rawlings. Great-grandmother of Liam Shaw-Hopkins, Brinley Murray, Denver Murray, and Elena Rawlings. Dear sister of John and Lois Patterson. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William Bradley and Florence Jean Patterson, and her daughter Beth Ann Milligan. Marian was a Registered Nurse, having received her schooling at Guelph General Hospital, and was dedicated to her nursing career for 40 years. She had a passion for singing and sang in the Durham Presbyterian Church Choir.

Cremation. Private interment of cremated remains at Maplewood Cemetery.
